Description

Camera: Nikon D50

This is a work I made last summer, spending my holiday in the little city Milau, France.
I actually never thought about it to post this one, but I personally always liked this one.

C&C are always welcome!

I like it (thumbup)
It’s a very good composition and also the elements are very curious too.
I can’t feel the profundity of the street; it looks a little flat, but anyway it’s a really nice composition. Good work! :)

Nice and simple indeed!

Would crop off major part of the foreground road also suggesting to have left some space to the left of the entrance/doors. It looks tight there now.

well done !! Good eye to spot it !!
Was there any barrel lense distortion. If u used the lense at its max it can be removed in PS. Try lense correcting filter plugins. That way U can make the road exactly parellel to the sides.
Hey Many happy returns for the day Chiel !!

@dakoo: About the road, it was going upwards to the left and I wanted to let that be visible in the picture...maybe the result is less obvious than I thought.
Thanks everyone!

Hi Chiel,

I really love how the colors jump out vs the neutral background. The composition works very well and I love the simplicity! I would crop a slight bit of the top (to remove the small shadow to the top-left). The bottom doesn't bother me all that much. Nice shot!

I miss this one too. I agree wit the comments done. A very interesting capture. :) The image elements brake the neutral tones very well. +8

Well this is pretty much the kind of stuff I'd like to see more from you, to look deeped into things not only post landscapes :)
just a personal thing though, dont mind me;)

btw, i think this would look even better in bw and with the contrast boosted a bit :)
